Dynamics of Atlanta Black Dads
The Moynihan Institute for Fatherhood Research and Policy, Fathers Incorporated and the Morehouse School of Medicine will be proud to unveil, “Dynamics of Atlanta Black Dads: Unpacking the Myths and Realities of Nonresident Fatherhood in Fulton County.” This groundbreaking work sheds light on the challenges, experiences, and triumphs of nonresident Black fathers in Fulton County, Georgia and aims to foster a deeper understanding of their crucial role in family dynamics.
The report is the culmination of extensive research and interviews, offering insights into the lives of these fathers, the barriers they face, and the unique contributions they make to their families and communities. It challenges existing narratives and opens new avenues for discussion, policy, and support for Black fathers in Atlanta.
