When The Tear Won’t Fall
When The Tear Won’t Fall: One Man’s Journey Through the Initimate Struggles of Manhood and Fatherhood
When The Tear Won t Fall, speaks from a man who has struggled with his own issues and now uses what he’s learned to encourage others, through his life, to focus on the things that matter in life; children. The book attempts to address the issue of fatherhood from this fresh perspective. As an African American male growing up in a single-family household, Mr. Braswell struggled, like many boys in Brooklyn, New York, to manage the development of his rites of passage into manhood.
Against the odds of stereotypes, statistics, and challenges, he negotiated his path into the work of Responsible Fatherhood. Today, after over 33 years of community service, publishing, and broadcasting, he is a leader in the nation’s Responsible Fatherhood Movement.
